When Dad runs the show! - Screen Print Direct

So for Father's Day, we have a cool little read for you. We have a printer by the name of Jesus Vega. He comes from Phoenix, AZ, and owns a shop called Vega Print LLC. He is 31 years old and has two little girls that he is printing for. His eldest daughter Cassidy is 4 and he and his wife welcomed their second child Ari a month ago.

Jesus' screen printing beginnings are unique because he never intended to pursue a career in the industry. One day an elder gentleman in graphic design approached him asking if he wanted a job... screen printing found him.

The first day he stepped into the hustling world of screen printing he knew that this was what he wanted to do. And so he did, he set out to learn everything and anything for years and years. He picked up on everything he could until one day the opportunity came around; a manual press was available for sale and he didn't think twice about it. He went right for it and bought it. Shortly after the purchase of the press, he and his wife set out house hunting for a home with a garage to start his own business venture.

It took them over half a year to save up to move and from there the rest is Vega Prints LLC history! You can now tune into his day-to-day life on YouTube and see he has a nice big shop and an automatic M&R, things are going fine for this Dad and his family. The coolest part of this story is that Jesus is making all of this happen thanks to the DACA program.

If you want to check out his journey from the get-go you can check his YouTube channel and his social media pages.
